Schools accessible from ORR, Sarjapur Road

Vibgyor as a group is currently operating in 4 cities: Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Vadodara. They have come up really fast in Bangalore. The school is on whitefield main road and from academic year 2009 onwards their another branch in HSR layout is also functional. They are considered very good in pre-primary but for higher classes they seem to be having some issues in terms of academics. They do have extra-curricular activities like swimming, basketball, skating.

There is a controversy around Vibgyor that they told parents Vibgyor was IGCSE affiliated but after the admissions they backed out. The parents were just bewildered who had got their kids admission in Vibgyor thinking that it was IGCSE.

Greenwood High School enjoys a rather clean reputation. And since it has been around for a couple of years, operations seem to be running smooth there.

The school seems to put a lot of stress on discipline and the instruction methodology is more formal (like the old times). Parents have also complained about the arrogance of the staff.

Inventure academy was founded by the Prestige group of Banglore. They enjoy good reputation, like Greenwood High in terms of academics and extra-curricular. They also have famous personalities on the board of directors like Prof. N. Balakrishnan, Asso. Dir IISc and Prof. Sadagopalan, Founder Dir IIIT Bangalore.

On the down side, is the hefty fees which is close to 2 lacs per annum. 

It doesn't seem to be a very good school. What's alarming is -

1. They have been promising a sports complex which hasn't come up yet.
2. They hiked their fees just like that (but that's a problem with most of the schools these days).
3. The staff seems to be impolite.

Besides, they seem to be writing their own reviews on a public forum.

Gear Innovative school is located off Outer ring road, the last stretch being mud road. It follows Montessori system for pre-primary.

There are mixed reviews about the school from the existing parents. Most parents complain about huge donation and vague fee structure (different kids in the same class paying different tuition and bus fees!), too frequent change of teachers in one class, indifferent staff and insufficient facilities/infrastructure. Though there are some who appreciate the Montessori system a lot and prefer putting the child in Gear for the same reason.

Deen's is a relatively new school, it was set up in 2006. It follows CBSE curriculum. It is located in Whitefield.

There are mixed review about the school from the parents.

Ryan international as a group is running schools in many cities. The main advantage of having the child in Ryan is for people who move intercity frequently as they guarantee admission to the child in Ryan in another city any time of the year.

On the flip side, parents complain that the school has given admission to too many kids which has led to too many kids sharing the common amenities and extra-curricular activites plus there is a huge shortage of teachers.
