South India, in general, is home to a lot of ancient temples. It is common to find temples that are several centuries old. Bangalore is not an exception to this tradition.
The older areas of Bangalore like Malleshwaram, Rajaji Nagar, Basavangudi have more temples compared to the new upcoming areas like HSR Layout, Kormangala etc.
